1996 Members of the Year

Department of Law Enforcement

Sgt. Steve Pry was recognized as Deputy of the Year after his involvement in the July 31 search of a suspected first degree murderer in the City of Winter Haven. Sergeant Pry was praised for remaining calm and demonstrating his professional ability during a stressful situation.

Detention Deputy Stafford has proven time and time again that he is ready to go the extra mile for the Sheriff's Office and fellow employees.
