Jail Visitor Conduct

While visiting the detention facilities it is expected that all posted rules and any further instructions given to you by the Visitation members are followed.

Any misconduct that is immoral or affects the order and operation of this program will result in revocation of visitation privileges. If applicable, criminal charges may be filed against you. General rules that apply:

  • Visitation is by appointment only at both the South County Jail and at the Central County Jail facilities.  Appointments must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
  • An inmate may have only one (1) visit per day, and up to two (2) visits per week (Monday through Sunday). Two adults and one juvenile may visit each visitation day.
  • Visitation is held seven days per week at the Central County Jail and the South County Jail facilities.  It is NON-CONTACT only!
  • All juveniles must be supervised by an adult at all times.

ONCE YOU HAVE CHECKED IN, IF YOU RETURN LATE, YOUR VISITATION PRIVILEGES WILL BE CANCELLED FOR THAT DAY.
