W/F, age 20 months (6/20/06). On 3/21/08, the victim's step-mother put her to bed for the night at approximately 1910 hours. After hearing a loud noise in the victim's room, the step-mother went in to check on the victim and found the victim face down on the floor. 911 was called and the victim was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital where she underwent emergency brain surgery to alleviate pressure on the brain. The victim later died. The medical examiner concluded that the victim died as a result of head trauma and listed the manner of death as homicide.
