W/M, age 7 weeks (4/23/89). On 6/12/89 at 1005 hours, the victim was taken to a Children's Clinic by his parents. At this time, the victim was not breathing and no definite heartbeat could be felt. At 1035 hours, the victim was pronounced dead. At autopsy, it was discovered that the victim had old fractures to the back that were in various states of healing. It was also discovered that the victim suffered hemorrhages and a subdural hematoma on the brain. The medical examiner ruled the manner of death as a homicide due to the injuries received were classic of Shaken Baby Syndrome.
