Community Oriented Policing (COPS)
| The Community Oriented Policing Squads (COPS) are located in each district and serve specific communities. Deputies assigned to COPS provide direct support to their communitiies in a variety of ways to address crime and socal issues through community partnerships and different methods of service delivery. |

 COPS deputies work with individuals in the community, community organizations, and government and social service providers, to name a few, in order to address community concerns. They may drive patrol cars, ride bicycles, or conduct foot patrols in thei assigned neighborhoods in order to meet the needs of the community through enforcement, education, and positive interaction.
