The Echo Platoon is comprised of several specialized units whose mission is to support the patrol function.  These units are responsible for varied duties that include traffic law enforcement and crash investigations, follow-up investigations of crimes, proactive patrol initiatives, community-focused patrol activities, and K-9 support.

These specialized units include:

• Community Oriented Policing Squad (COPS)
• PROCAP Squad
• General Crimes Investigations Unit
• Traffic Unit
