Polk Sheriff’s Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, is currently raising money to provide funds to place bronze statutes of our agency’s fallen officers at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Memorial.  The memorial will be located at the Sheriff’s Office Operations Center currently under construction in Winter Haven off of 540A.  Our goal is to have enough funds to place a bronze statues of D/S Matt Williams and his K-9 partner Diogi, who were viciously murdered in September 2006 and detention Sgt. Ronnie Brown, who died in September 2009 as a result of injuries sustained after being attacked by a violent inmate in the jail.
