Adoption Fees 
 

Adoption fees include:

  • The animal being spayed or neutered
  • First shots
  • Worming
  • Heartworm testing
  • Heartworm preventative (if applicable)
  • Rabies vaccination
  • Tag
  • Treatment with flea preventative
  • Micro chip identification
Effective July 1, 2009, the fee for adoption microchips will be $5.00 per unit.  This will appear as a separate line item on your receipt. The adjusted adoption fees will be as follows:  

 

Cats & Kittens

$40.00

Puppies (under 6 months old)

$40.00

Dogs (6 months & older)

$70.00

Senior adoptions (people age 55 and above)

$25.00
