 Have You Lost Your Pet?

Whenever you lose your pet you may check our website to see if it has been found and brought to us.  But please do not rely solely on what you see.

While owners have identified their animals based on the photographs, many times your lost and frightened companions may not be easily recognizable.  Unfortunately, some animals may even be too sick or injured to be placed on the website.

We strongly recommend that you check the kennels in person as soon as possible because, unless the animal is still wearing its identification, we often have no way of knowing who the animal belongs to.

This section enforces the County's Animal Control Ordinance and the state's Dangerous Dog statue both inside and outside all city limits.

Animal Control investigates bite cases and dangerous dog cases. This agency also provides:

  • Animal adoption programs
  • picks up sick or injured dogs and cats, and quarantines animals.

When inquiring about animals viewed on our website, you must provide the animal id number from the website.

County law requires:

  • That all dogs and cats four months and older have a current rabies vaccination and wear a valid tag.
  • Dogs must be confined to their owner's property or be under the owner's control when in public areas.
