Pet Fest 2012 is coming soon!  December 1, 2012 from 10am to 4pm

Be sure to get your pre-screening done at least two weeks or more in advance!  Download the forms here.

This is important, especially for those people coming from other counties - our process includes checking with those other counties to be sure the applicant is in compliance with their counties.  For the safety of the animals being adopted, the Animal Control Section must make certain there are no unresolved animal related investigations or citations involving potential adoptors or their household members. The Animal Control Section will be checking all family pets on record to ensure they are vaccinated and have valid Polk County license tags. We also need to know if any of your former household pets have been lost, sold, given away, and any that have died and the circumstances involved. Please help us speed up the process by completing this short questionnaire.  If you are out of county - it would be advisable to return the paperwork at least two weeks before the Pet Fest.
