Fingerprint Service Information

Charges and Requirements:

There is a $5.00 fee per fingerprint card.
Presentation of a driver's license or other identification may be required.
The Sheriff's Office is not certified to fingerprint for the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Please call (813) 931-3124 for information regarding this fingerprinting service.

ELECTRONIC FINGERPRINTS FOR CONCEALED WEAPONS ONLY!!!!

PCSO Human Resources now have the capability of taking electronic fingerprints for Concealed Weapon or Firearms License. Interested individuals should contact the Human Resources Division (863-535-1900) to schedule an appointment. The cost of the electronic fingerprinting is $35.00 and must be paid by credit card only.

At this time electronic fingerprints at Human Resources can processed for the following purposes ONLY:

Polk County Sheriff’s Office applicants

Other Polk County law enforcement applicants

Selected local government applicants
Concealed Weapon or Firearms License applicants

All others would need to be rolled on a fingerprint card at approved designated areas within the agency. HRD does not have the capability to process paper fingerprint requests – those requests must be processed in the current designated areas.
