The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City and all City departments. In addition, the Manager provides leadership, general guidance and management to City departments, and executes policy set forth by the Commission.

The Fort Meade City Hall is located at 8 West Broadway, and hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
City Comission
The City of Fort Meade operates under a Commission/Manager form of government.
The responsibilities of the Fort Meade City Commission are to represent the public interest, promote quick, courteous response to residents' problems, provide leadership and direction for the City's future, and assure the present and future fiscal integrity of the municipal government.
