Very important message from Sheriff Grady Judd warning residents to be aware of a possible scam that the Polk County Sheriff's Office has received information relating to possible fraud activity.  This is a door-to-door solicitation – a roofing scam where scam artists contact victims claiming that their roofs are damaged and should be repaired.  These scam artists have contacted several persons in the area of Grove Shore MHP off of Cypress Gardens Road in the areas of Southeast Winter Haven.  Please contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-298-6200 if you believe you have been the victim of such fraudulent activity.
