Important message from the Polk County Sheriff's Office informing residents during the late evening hours of June 27th; unknown suspects removed a 4-wheel drive, all-terrain vehicle with a black bed from the maintenance area of the Cypress Wood Golf Community, and many valuable pieces of lawn equipment were taken at this time.  It is believed the suspect or suspects drove this ATV around the area for the next few days until Detectives recovered it July 3rd on Cody Caleb Road.  If you have any information in reference to who was driving this ATV or information on suspicious activity in the Cypress Wood Golf Course please contact Polk County Detective Kevin Smith at 863-287-8411.  Should you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-8477.
