Bicycle & Vehicle Thefts/Burglaries - Lock it or Lose it!
News Story
Polk County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public’s assistance making sure they are locking their vehicles and bicycles in the area of Nalcrest Apartments and Lakeshore Apartments. Recently there has been an increase in Thefts and Criminal Mischief over the past 2-weeks; so please, double check your bicycles and vehicles for security when you are away. If you should see anyone suspicious in the area or have information regarding these recent thefts, contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-298-6200. Should you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-8477 and you may be eligible for a cash reward.
