Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Office, Agricultural Unit, detectives are seeking information on the burning of eight bee hives containing thousands of bees during the early morning hours of April 15, 1998. The hives were located in a fenced-in compound in a citrus grove belonging to Haines City Citrus Growers Co-op, off Baker Dairy Road, near Haines City. The damage is estimated in excess of $1,500.

 A reward of up to $1,000 may be awarded for information leading to the arrest or indictment of a suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. Anonymity is Guaranteed!
