Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking information on the theft of a 1993 Kawasaki Mule.

The grove truck is believed to have been stolen between 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 1998, and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 1998, from a Bill Hill Griffin storage facility located at 5330 East U.S. Highway 98, near Fort Meade.

Suspect(s) entered the facility after removing a lock to the fenced-in compound. The mule is estimated at approximately $5,000.

Polk County Sheriff's Office Det. Rob Oakman is in charge of the investigation.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be awarded for information leading to the arrest or indictment of a suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. Anonymity is Guaranteed!
