Suspects Sought in Robberies Robbery Suspect Captured!
Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery Unit Detectives are seeking to identify three suspects responsible for multiple convenience store robberies across Polk County. The first robbery occurred on January 4, at the Sunrise Market located at 2581 Sun Acres Blvd., in Auburndale. The second robbery occurred on January 5, at the Farm Store located at 1950 Dranefield Rd., in Lakeland. The third robbery occurred on January 10, at the Fleet Wing Food Mart located at 525 Common Wealth Rd., in Polk City. The fourth robbery occurred on January 11, at the 7-11 located at 7011 Cypress Gardens Blvd., in Winter Haven. In all 4 cases, the suspects enter the store, display a firearm and demand money from the cashier. A description of one suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'1 and 180 pounds. This description was captured from a surveillance video camera which is seen here. A description of the other two suspects is not available. The suspects may be traveling in a 4-door, late 80's or early 90's model black Nissan.
