Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery Detectives are searching for a suspect wanted on an arrest warrant for a convenience store robbery. Shadrick Copeland, DOB 10/7/60, is wanted on a warrant charging one count Robbery (F2) for the Jan. 29, 2001, robbery of a Circle K store located at 3808 Deeson Road in Lakeland. 

Following the robbery, two suspects were arrested and charged, but Copeland fled on foot and escaped capture. Detectives are searching for Copeland, who also has numerous charges pending from additional robbery cases. 

He is described as a black male, 5'11, 170 pounds. Anyone with information about the suspect's possible location is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 may be awarded for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect. The robbery unit can be reached at 534-6379.
