Information Sought: Thefts

Polk County Crime Stoppers

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about numerous thefts in the Northeast area of Polk County. Suspect(s) are targeting new homes and new homes under construction along Highway 27 north of I-4 in various subdivisions. 

New appliances such as washers, dryers, dish washers, water heaters, central air units, stoves, and refrigerators are being taken from new home construction sites. Most of the appliances are either just installed or just delivered when they are taken. 

Detectives believe the suspect(s) may be using a service type vehicle like a pick-up truck, van or delivery truck that would blend in with other similar vehicles legitimately working in the area.
