Suspect Sought in Davenport Shooting
Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking information concerning the whereabouts of Napoleon Contreras, DOB 8/31/76, of 1537 Adair Road in Davenport. 

Contreras is wanted for the First Degree Murder of Lorenzo Mundragon on Saturday, January 26, 2002. According to witnesses, Contreras shot Mundragon multiple times in the head with a handgun after they had an argument about money that Mundragon owed him.  The shooting occurred shortly after 12 a.m.    

Contreras is  described as being approximately 5'7” tall, 180 lbs., has black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans, and a black ball cap.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Contreras, wants to remain anonymous, and be eligible for up to a $2,000 reward is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. Anonymity is Guaranteed!
