Information Sought in Robbery
Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery Detectives are seeking information concerning an armed robbery that occurred at 12:45 a.m. this morning (Monday, Feb. 25,2002) at the Get-N-Go convenience store, located at 195 N. Rifle Range Rd. in Winter Haven.

A black male in his early to mid 20's, approximately 6'6” to 6'8” tall, 170 lbs., wearing a nylon mask  and dark colored trench coat entered the store armed with a 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun.  The suspect ordered the 2 store employees behind the counter to give him the money from the register.  He then ordered them to give him their purses and forced them into a storage room . The suspect was seen leaving the store in a older model maroon/ dark colored Chrysler Lebaron.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect , wants to remain anonymous, and be eligible for up to a $2,000 reward is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. Anonymity is  Guaranteed!
