Armed Kidnapping And Sexual Battery Suspect Sought    
Lake Wales Police detectives are seeking information concerning an armed kidnapping and sexual battery that occurred on Thursday, June 13, 2002.

On Thursday, June 13, 2002, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the victim, who just completed work, drove away from the Orange Grove Shopping Center, located on State Road 60 in Southeast Lake Wales. As the victim was driving, an unidentified suspect appeared from the rear seat. The suspect forced the victim to drive to a nearby orange grove, where victim was bound and then sexually battered.  After the attack, the victim was forced to travel to the Winn Dixie Store, located at 1860 State Road 60 East in Lake Wales. Once at the Winn Dixie Store the victim was released and the suspect ran from the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 to 40 years old, approximately 6'1", 180 lbs, with soft curly dark hair, and unshaven.  Please see composite sketch at top.  Additionally, the suspect should have numerous puncture wounds located on both sides of his neck that he received when the victim stabbed him repeatedly with a pen during the attack.  The suspect referred to himself as having a wife, whom he referred to as "Peaches", and 3 children.
