Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking information about a recent string of graffiti incidents in which large swastikas and other offensive graphics have been painted at several Lakeland sites. Sometime between the hours of  8 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 7, the suspect(s) spray-painted a large red swastika on a business sign located at 4921
Southfork Drive in Lakeland. They also painted graffiti - including offensive phrases, a pentagram, and an eight-ball with a ring around it - on construction vehicles parked at the business. The suspects also painted a  swastika on a window and other offensive words on the trunk of a vehicle parked on Butternut Drive in Lakeland. A number eight with a circle around
it also was painted on entrance signs to the Christina subdivision and the Willow Run subdivision. Similar graffiti was painted on the entrance wall to the Ashton Oaks subdivision, and at residences located on Cedar Lane and in
the Casa Loma neighborhood.
