Information Sought: Bank Robbery Suspects Sought

Polk County Crime Stoppers
Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are seeking the public’s help in finding two armed robbery suspects involved in the robbery of the Florida First Bank located at 435 South Combee Road in Lakeland on November 5, 2002. 

At 11:27 a.m. deputies responded to the alarm at the bank.  Witnesses reported the two suspects entered the bank, passed a pillow case to the clerk and told her to fill it with money, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspects are described as black males, and they wore wigs and sunglasses while committing the crime.  The suspects apparently used a vehicle which was recovered a few blocks west of the scene and later confirmed stolen out of Plant City.  The suspects fled in a 2-tone tan-colored sedan.
