Polk County Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives are seeking the public’s help in finding two men wanted for a personal armed robbery.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2003, around 9:00 p.m., the victim was walking down Hodge Road in Waverly when he was approached from behind by a vehicle.  Two unknown black male subjects exited the vehicle and approached the victim, forcing him at gunpoint to get on the ground.  Then they robbed the victim of his wallet and money, and forced him to get into the trunk of their vehicle.  The y drove around the area and eventually stopped in an orange grove east of Waverly, where the victim was able to escape.   

The suspects are described as black males wearing dark-colored clothing and dark hoods.  The vehicle they were driving was a 80's model dark brown car of an unknown make or model.
