Polk County Sheriff's Office Northwest detectives are investigating a vehicle burglary in which a shotgun, police radio, and other items were stolen from a local law enforcement officer's unmarked agency vehicle. The burglary/theft took place during the evening hours sometime between 9:30 p.m. on May 13 and 6:30 a.m. the next morning, May 14, in the North Lakeland area.

The suspect gained entrance to a local law enforcement officer's parked unmarked agency vehicle, and stole a 12-gauge Remington shotgun, police radio, flashlight, handcuffs, and wallet with credit cards and other items. The suspect pictured here was videotaped attempting to use the stolen credit cards. Detectives are looking for any information about the possible suspect and his identification.
