Polk County Crime Stoppers
Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about the illegal use of another's bank account information to gain funds.

A suspect under investigation by deputies has confessed to fraudulently obtaining two separate routing numbers to local bank accounts and making two withdrawals of $250 and $230, respectively, in order to pay bills.  The act took place on April 28, 2003.  The suspect can provide no information on who the victim is, and detectives are still searching.  Once a victim comes forward or is found, the suspect can and will be charged with Grand Theft and Identification Theft.
