Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for a suspect who attempted to cash in lottery tickets that had been stolen during a burglary of a Circle K store. On Feb. 26, 2003, the suspect attempted to cash in stolen lottery tickets at the BP Station located on Wabash Avenue in Lakeland. The lottery tickets had been taken earlier that day during a burglary of the Circle K store located on Dundee Road in Winter Haven (store was burglarized while closed and unoccupied).  Detectives are seeking any information about the possible identity and location of the female suspect (her image was  captured on store video).  Anyone with information about the suspect's possible identity or location is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS. A cash reward may be awarded for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
