Polk County Sheriff's Office robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery and shooting that occurred Dec. 22, 2003, at an Auto Zone store located at 3500 Havendale Blvd. in Winter Haven. An employee of the store went outside to investigate why the electricity had gone off and was approached by two suspects armed with a handgun. The suspects ordered the employee back into the closed store. As they approached the door,  another employee attempted to lock the suspects out. The suspects shot at the employee, hitting him in arm area. The suspects then forced their way into the store and took an undisclosed amount of money prior to fleeing on foot.  The suspects are described as black males, (suspect 1) 6'1, 230 pounds and muscular, and (suspect 2) 5'10 with a thin build.

Detectives are seeking any information about the robbery and shooting.
