Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, October 13, 2003, around 8:00 p.m. at the Vive Grocery Store on Ariana Blvd in Lakeland.

An unknown suspect, described as a black male in his 20's, weighing about 200 lbs.,  entered the store, purchased a beverage, and left.  A few minutes later, he came back into the store, placed a handgun to the store clerk's head, and demanded money.  In fear for his life, the clerk gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled in an unknown type vehicle.
