Polk County Crime Stoppers
Polk County Sheriff’s Office Agricultural Crimes deputies are seeking the public's help in finding the person or persons responsible for shooting a cow at the Double B Bar Ranch, 3115 County Road 54, in Davenport.

The ranch manager of Double B Bar Ranch called the Sheriff's Office on Friday, February 21, 2003, to report that a suspect(s) unlawfully drove onto the property that night, went through a chained gate, and shot one black & white female cow in the head.   The cow was standing in a pasture on ranch property when she was shot.  The estimated value of the cow is $1000.
