Polk County Crime Stoppers
Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred at the Hand's Produce store, 802 North Combee Road in Lakeland, on Saturday, February 28, 2004.

The robbery occurred around 4:00 p.m. as the clerk was stocking items on the shelves. She was approached by a masked suspect armed with a knife, who forced her to the register. He removed an undisclosed amount of cash, forced the victim into the walk-in cooler, and fled on foot.

A witness outside the store described the suspect as a white male, in his early 20's, with dark or brown hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. He ran behind the Cathedral of Faith church on the corner of Burns and North Combee.
