Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery detectives are seeking information about a bank robbery that occurred just before 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at the Wachovia Bank, 5720 Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven.

The suspect, described as a white male in his 50's, about 5'8" to 5'10", wearing a T-shirt and shorts and a hat, walked into the bank, handed the teller a note, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and walked out. He fled on foot in a northbound direction. No weapons or threats were used, and nobody was injured during the incident.
