Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives investigating a child abuse case have made one arrest and are searching for an additional suspect.

 

 

Yesterday evening (Tuesday, Apr. 27, 2004), detectives arrested Lakeland resident Jenielle MacDonald, (left photo) DOB 4/5/82, on charges of Aggravated Child Abuse (2 counts). Detectives additionally are searching for Adrian Freeman, (right photo) DOB 5/13/78, who is wanted on the same charges. The two suspects (who reside together as a couple at 1215 Driggers Road in Lakeland) are being charged with aggravated child abuse for locking two children, ages 4 and 6, in a closet for hours at a time and tying one of the victim's hands with cable ties.
