Polk County Crime Stoppers
Polk County Sheriff's Office Homicide Detectives are seeking information in the homicide of a 23-year-old Wahneta man who was shot and killed outside the Latino Night Club late Saturday night (Sept. 11, 2004). 

Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the Latino Night Club at around 11:15 p.m. Saturday reference a reported drive-by shooting.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim, Victor Trejo, DOB 12/19/80, of 2040 Bomber Road in Wahneta, had been fatally shot in the head as he and a group of friends were walking towards the entrance to the club.  Detectives have determined the victim was shot by a passenger in a vehicle as the vehicle drove by the group. The vehicle is described as a white car with dark tinted windows. The suspect is described as a heavy set Hispanic male with a dark complexion, short hair and a mustache. Anyone with information about the homicide who wishes to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS.
