Information Sought: PUPPY THEFT

Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking information about the theft of a puppy from a pet store that occurred on December 6, 2004.

 

At 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, an unknown white male and female entered the Pet World store at 3637 Havendale Blvd. in Auburndale. The male was seen hiding something under his shirt.  When they left the store, clerks discovered that a 1-month old tan Chihuahua puppy was missing. They left the area in a pink or light maroon Mercury Cougar.
