Polk County Crime Stoppers

Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed home invasion that occurred on February 13, 2005.

At 2:45 p.m. that afternoon, two unknown Hispanic male suspects, both armed with handguns, forcibly entered the victims' home at 108 Eagle Lake Loop Road West in Eagle Lake. They tied up the victims, a mother and her 5-year-old child, beat up the father of the children, and ransacked the house. They fled in the victims' vehicle, which was recovered by PCSO deputies a short time later abandoned in an orange grove. It is possible the suspects, after abandoning the victim's vehicle, got into a large black SUV with tinted windows.

Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic Male, early 20's, approximately 5'4"-5'5", skinny to medium build, clean shaven, black short faded style haircut, wearing baggy jean shorts, and a black short sleeved T-shirt, who spoke with a Mexican dialect.

Suspect 2 is described as a Hispanic Male, early to mid 20's, approximately 5'10", skinny build, darker skin tone, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and possibly blue jeans, who spoke with a Puerto Rican or Cuban dialect.
