Polk County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting death of George Stephen Eisenhardt, Jr.


During the early morning hours of February 24, 2006, George Stephen Eisenhardt, Jr., was dropped off at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center by 25-year-old Johnnie Mangham at approximately 3:30 a.m. (early Monday morning) with a gunshot wound—Eisenhardt died minutes later.  Mangham has been arrested and is in custody at the Polk County Jail on unrelated charges.


Deputies are seeking any information regarding the shooting—especially the location where the shooting occurred.
