At approximately 5:00 pm, on Saturday, May 24, 2008, three semi-trucks pulled into the diesel fuel area located behind the Circle K Convenience Store, 3730 Airport Road, Lakeland, and got gas. An unknown, white male subject, who was driving one of the trucks, entered the store and paid for a portion of the gas.
The store manager discovered that the fuel pumps had been tampered with and estimates that the trucks pumped approximately $1,600.00 worth of fuel, paying only a fraction of that total.
The white male suspect was wearing a yellow shirt, khaki shorts and flip flops. He had a short cropped hair style and was clean shaven. He appears to be between the ages of 25-30, approximately 5’7” and 5’8” tall, and weighing approximately 150-160.
