INFORMATION SOUGHT IN VANDALISM  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in solving several cases of Vandalism in Fort Meade.

Several incidents of vandalism at Greenwood Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc., 205 Charleston Avenue, Fort Meade, began in October 2008, and continued through January 2009.  In each incident, a suspect or suspects, fired pellets through the windows of vehicles on the lot.

The vandalism incidents have become more wide spread to include damage on vehicles at Stedem Ford, 3200 Highway 17 North; Ford vehicles inside the City of Fort Meade; the glass entrance doors to Favilli Family Practice, 25 N. Lanier Avenue, and the office doors at the Oakview Lake Estates adult community, 300 S. Washington Avenue

The latest incidents occurred over the weekend of February 20-22, 2009, and Wednesday, February 25, 2009.  In all crimes, detectives believe a pellet weapon has been used.
