INFORMATION SOUGHT IN WHEREABOUTS OF ROBBERY SUSPECT   Sought

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a Robbery by Snatching Suspect.

At approximately 7:45 am, Friday, April 3, 2009, a male suspect approached a female victim inside the Sweetbay Supermarket, 6220 US Hwy 98 North, Lakeland, and began a conversation.  He then followed the victim into the parking lot, asked her for change, then snatched the victim’s coin purse from her hand and fled the area.

As the suspect was fleeing, he dropped his wallet, leaving a driver’s license behind.  The driver’s license belongs to 25-year-old Randy William Sealey.  The suspect’s image was captured on store video and matches Sealey’s description.

Anyone with information about Sealy’s whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Kelly Wombles at 863.577.1600, or 963.534.6200.
