Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the identity of a suspect who exposed himself at a convenience store in Polk City.

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, around 5:14 a.m., an unknown white male parked at the Circle K store located at 205 North Commonwealth Avenue in Polk City, got out of his dark blue SUV, and walked into the store to purchase a cookie. He went back to his vehicle to get more money, came back in the store, and then made his purchase. The entire time the man was out of his vehicle - from the time he arrived until he made his purchase and left - the zipper of his shorts was down and he exposed himself to the two clerks in the store.

The man is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’8”, 160 lbs., wearing a black T-shirt with the words “Top Gun” written in red on the back, dark green khaki style shorts, and an orange University of Texas Longhorns ballcap.

According to the store clerks, the same suspect exposed himself to them on 2 earlier occasions in March. The April 14th incident was captured on video surveillance (see photos below).

If you have any information about this incident or can identify this suspect, you are urged to contact Detective Christopher Shea at 863.534.6379 or 1.800.226.0344.
