INFORMATION SOUGHT IN SUPERWAY FOOD STORE ROBBERY  Sought 
 

Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred at the Superway Food Store located at 2415 Avenue G NW in Winter Haven on Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Around 11:00 p.m. that evening, an unknown black male suspect entered the store, pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot heading west towards 25th Street.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 18-20 years old, 5’5” to 5’8” tall, 130-140 lbs., thin build, wearing a white jacket with black designs, a black T-shirt, and blue jeans.

The suspect was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun, and concealed his face with a black cloth.
