INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ARMED ROBBERY AT BP GAS STATION  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the BP gas station located at 2600 Havendale Blvd. in Winter Haven.

Around 5:05 a.m. that morning, an unknown black male suspect entered the store and ordered the clerk at gunpoint to remove money from the cash register. He also threatened a store customer with the gun at the same time. After removing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'2", 125 lbs., wearing a black T-shirt, white hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, a black mask over his face, armed with a silver-colored semi-automatic handgun. He can be seen on video surveillance.
