INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ARMED HOME INVASION IN WINTER HAVEN  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed home invasion that occurred on Sunday, May 31, 2009.

Around 4:00 a.m. that morning, the resident at 2433 Avenue D SW in Winter Haven noticed his front porch light was out. While outside, he was approached by an unknown black male suspect who started asking him questions. When the victim tried to go back into his home, the suspect tried to force his way in. As the victim continued to fight off the suspect, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his money and cell phone. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25-30 years of age, approximately 6'4" to 6'5" tall, with a muscular build, dressed in all black clothing, and unshaven. He possibly fled the scene in a 4-door blue or black car.
