INFORMATION SOUGHT IN BUSINESS BURGLARY INVESTIGATION  Sought

At approximately 3:45 am, on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, a male subject forced his way into Dona Julia’s Restaurant, 5375 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland.

Once inside, he removed a container filled with beer.  Restaurant video captured images of the suspect, dressed in light colored shorts and shoes.  He had removed his t-shirt and used it to conceal his face.

Detectives believe the suspect is the same subject from a previous burglary.

At approximately 1:25 am, on Friday, July 31, 2009, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm call at Badcock Furniture, 1225 Combee Road, Lakeland.

Deputies arrived to find broken glass from the front windows of the store, however nothing was taken.

Store cameras captured the images of a male subject who wore dark pants, light colored striped boxers, dark shoes, and used his dark shirt to cover his face.

Anyone with information about these two cases is urged to contact Detectives William Shepherd or Ian Rylott at 863.499.2400, or 863.534.6200.
