INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ARMED ROBBERY OF CIRCLE K STORE  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred at the Circle K convenience store located at 4980 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven.

Around 11:30 p.m. the evening of Sunday, September 6, 2009, two unknown black male suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered the store and jumped over the counter, demanding money from the clerks. The armed suspect pointed the handgun at one of the clerks and threatened to shoot her if she did not comply with their demands. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled the scene heading eastound on foot towards Grady Polk Road.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 6' tall, 180 lbs, wearing a black mask, grey pants, a black sweatshirt, grey gloves, and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5'5" tall, 140 lbs, a grey mask, wearing blue and white shorts, a green sweatshirt, and yellow rubber dishwashing style gloves.
