CHECK THEFT SUSPECT SOUGHT  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole checks in Polk County, forged them, and then cashed them at various banks in Hillsborough County.

The suspect can be seen in video surveillance from two different Bank of America branches in Hillsborough County, one on Racetrack Road and one on West Hillsborough Avenue. He stole checks from a business in Polk County, and from a victim in Polk County, and made fraudulent deposits and withdrawals with those checks.
