Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about the theft of $70.00 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from the Circle K store located at 5600 Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven.

Deputies were called to respond to the store when the clerk noticed a discrepancy between the cash in the drawer and the scratch-off tickets. A review of the store's video surveillance system showed that around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2010, an unknown Hispanic male suspect was seen leaning over the counter and removing four tickets while the clerk was in another part of the store.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'7", 150 lbs., with black hair, wearing an Aeropostale brand sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect was driving a red 2-door sports car, possibly a Pontiac.
